What should we bring to our sessions?

Anything that you feel you need to perform your songs. This could be nothing (using the equipment that is always available to use here, please see the gear list above) or every piece of gear you own. The choice is really up to you but if you’re bringing your own gear make sure it is set up for recording (new drumheads, guitar strings, guitars are properly set up).
Sending over any rough recordings, lyrics, BPMs, or reference material helps me better understand what you’re trying to achieve.

How far in advance should we book?

Two to three months is normal. In some cases I can fit you in on shorter notice but it’s a much safer bet to book in advance.

How much do you charge for recording?

I can accommodate most scenarios whether it’s live off the floor or multi-tracking to a click. My studio is set up in my house so probably not the right fit for large orchestras and I don’t own a grand piano so plan accordingly.

Can you mix our record?

Can you master our record?

Yes, but I wouldn’t recommend it. I would recommend an actual mastering engineer in an environment suited to that. I’d be happy to point you in the right direction.

Can you mix our record in Dolby Atmos?

I don’t mix in Atmos. I recommend a dedicated Dolby Atmos equipped facility to handle this.

Can we apply for grants to work with you?

Can you master for vinyl?

I have mastered several releases for the format and I’m comfortable doing so, but I would recommend a dedicated mastering engineer.
